William Pugh

As Contracts Manager at Andrew Scott Ltd, Bill oversees all civil engineering aspects of the company’s heavy industry, energy, processing and utilities sector projects. He manages contracts from pre-construction to completion, negotiates terms with clients and subcontractors, and ensures compliance while mitigating risks. Bill works closely with senior management to align projects with strategic objectives and maintain high standards.

Under his leadership, Andrew Scott Ltd is known for delivering successful projects on a right-first-time basis. Beyond work, Bill is passionate about horse racing, having spent years as an amateur owner/trainer/rider and as a voluntary steward for the Pony Racing Authority. Raised on a farm, he enjoys countryside activities and maintains a small flock of sheep with his family. Recently, Bill has returned to running, cycling, and gym workouts to maintain a balanced lifestyle.
