Stoke City Football Club

The bet365 Stadium upgrades reflect Stoke City FC’s commitment to long-term growth, improving both fan experience and player facilities

A key element of the development was the design and construction of a new 1,800-seat infill stand in the South East Corner, which increased the stadium's overall capacity to 30,000. This addition included new concourse areas, diversions, and the maintenance of existing services, carefully planned to minimise disruption.

Construction work was undertaken throughout the football season, with robust health and safety measures and clear segregation in place to ensure the safety of fans and staff during match days. These arrangements were designed to maintain a seamless and enjoyable match-day experience for supporters, while achieving the agreed construction programme.

Further improvements included the upgrade of accessible seating, in line with Premier League and government guidance, ensuring a more inclusive environment for all fans. The project also featured the installation of new LED media screens in the South East and North West Corners, alongside a new media control suite in the North West Corner, incorporating necessary service diversions.

In addition, alterations to the segregation arrangements in the South Stand provided greater flexibility in accommodating away supporters, enhancing operational efficiency and crowd management.

Together, these enhancements reinforced Stoke City FC’s commitment to delivering top-tier facilities, improving the supporter experience, and laying the foundation for sustainable future growth.

A complex construction contract with strict constraints on both the programme and works areas. You completed the works with no accidents or reportable incidents. Your site management in particular were excellent.
