The sensitive nature of the site posed significant logistical and operational challenges throughout the strip-out and fit-out phases. All personnel, materials, and activities were subject to stringent security protocols, including escorted access, detailed vetting procedures, and strict scheduling to avoid disruption to daily operations. Coordination with The Royal Mint’s internal security and operational teams was crucial to ensuring compliance while maintaining programme efficiency.

Scope of Works:

• Creation of a packaging assembly area within the telling section of the CPR shop floor, enabling enhanced efficiency in product handling and dispatch.

• Fit-out of an open-plan production office and two fully functional manager’s offices to support operational oversight.

• Construction of two enclosed offices and a tea point within the Mechanical & Electrical workshop, improving welfare and administrative capacity on site.

• Upgrades to the despatch office, including the installation of additional power and data outlets, to facilitate the relocation and expansion of the Quality Assurance function.

• Clearance and initial fit-out of the exhibition space, forming the foundation for a highly engaging visitor experience.

• External modifications to the visitor route to improve accessibility and flow.

• Coordination and management of the exhibition fit-out, working alongside specialist designers and exhibition contractors to bring the vision to life.
