Richard is the Commercial Manager for projects in East Wales, overseeing all aspects of cost management, financial forecasting, and risk management. With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, he ensures projects are completed within budget and to high-quality standards. Richard manages cost estimates, monitors expenditure, and ensures accurate tracking of costs throughout the project lifecycle.

He works closely with project teams, clients, cost consultants, and supply chain to maintain transparency and resolve cost-related issues. His strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and expertise in quantity surveying help identify cost-saving opportunities, maximising financial success.

Richard is known for his local procurement strategies and commitment to fair payment terms. His leadership has contributed to the successful delivery of numerous projects, ensuring financial discipline and cost-effectiveness.

Outside work, Richard enjoys spending time with his family, supporting Cardiff City FC and the Welsh national team, and playing golf. His deep connection to Andrew Scott Ltd. stems from his great-grandfather’s history with the company.
