Parc y Scarlets Stadium

Parc y Scarlets: A Premier Sporting Destination

Parc y Scarlets is a state-of-the-art, 15,000-seat stadium designed and constructed to meet the highest standards of modern sport and hospitality. The main stand features a comprehensive suite of facilities, including restaurants, corporate hospitality areas, conference space, and office accommodation, offering a dynamic venue for both matchday and non-matchday events.

The South Stand is a hub of activity, housing the club shop, museum, ticket office, café, gym, changing rooms, function lounges, and fifteen premium hospitality boxes. This stand is accessed via the iconic Ray Gravell Legend Walkway, a commemorative path paved with inscribed bricks representing every Llanelli RFC and Scarlets player capped by Wales, as well as supporters who contributed to the scheme. At its heart stands a statue of the legendary Ray Gravell himself, paying tribute to his enduring legacy.

Stadium seating is distributed as follows:

  • South Stand: 5,748 seats

  • North Stand: 4,402 seats

  • East & West Stands: 2,095 seats each

The pitch boasts advanced infrastructure, including under-soil heating and a cutting-edge drainage system. Notably, Parc y Scarlets was the first stadium in the UK to feature fibre-elastic reinforcing technology integrated with 100% natural grass, ensuring an exceptional playing surface year-round.

Supporting athletic and team development, the site includes a fully equipped indoor training barn with professional-grade training pitches, a 2,000 sq ft gym, cardio room, medical and physiotherapy suites, as well as refuelling and recovery rooms.

An outdoor athletics track, accompanied by training pitches, a spectator stand, and changing facilities, further enhances the venue. The track is regularly utilised by Llanelli Athletics Club and a variety of community groups, reinforcing Parc y Scarlets’ role as a vital community asset.

The stadium’s official opening was marked by a memorable fixture against the Barbarians, with the home side claiming an impressive 40–24 victory—a fitting start to a new era in Welsh rugby

May I formally say how delighted we are with our new 15,000-capacity stadium at Parc y Scarlets. Since its opening nearly a year ago, we have received numerous plaudits from visiting teams and high-level guests, all of whom have been incredibly impressed with the design and build quality.

It has been a pleasure working with you and your team to realise our original aspiration of delivering an iconic stadium—one that puts us on the map and makes a strong statement about quality within our County. You enabled us to achieve that vision.

I was particularly impressed by your ability to deliver the project on time and within budget, despite the many challenges encountered on site. My officers also spoke highly of the partnership approach adopted by your site team, which helped maintain confidence and trust throughout the build.
