Joan Tamlyn

Joan Tamlyn is the Head of Business Development, bringing a wealth of experience within the construction industry in South Wales. Throughout her career, she has built a strong reputation for developing strategic partnerships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that create long-term value for clients. Her commercial insight, industry knowledge, and client-focused approach have been instrumental in driving business success across a wide range of construction and heritage projects.

Joan holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies (2:1), providing a solid academic foundation that complements her extensive practical experience. She combines strategic thinking with a thorough understanding of the construction sector, enabling her to develop effective business strategies, strengthen client relationships, and support sustainable organisational growth.

As Head of Business Development, Joan is passionate about building lasting relationships and creating opportunities that benefit both clients and the business. She is committed to delivering exceptional service, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the company remains at the forefront of the industry. Her professionalism, leadership, and dedication play a key role in the company's ongoing growth and success.  

Outside of work, Joan enjoys spending quality time with her young family and can often be found on the sidelines of a rugby pitch at weekends, enthusiastically cheering on her two sons. She is also a passionate runner and is frequently training for her next marathon, using many of her races as an opportunity to raise funds for local charities that are close to her heart.

When she's not working or training, Joan enjoys travelling and making the most of family holidays, with skiing trips being a particular favourite.
