Construction works for conversion of a former tile warehouse into office, training and storage facilities for the first HART base in South Wales

Andrew Scott Ltd undertook the design and construction works for conversion of a former tile warehouse into office, training and storage facilities for the first HART base in South Wales.
The works comprised refurbishment and alterations to the existing fabric of the building including demolition and removal of existing internal partition walls, ceilings, mezzanine floor areas, staircases and redundant services.
Our work also included replacement cladding to roof and wall areas, alterations to the existing structural steel frame to facilitate new windows, personnel doors, high bay roller shutters, and mechanical services.
Externally separate structures were constructed to house a fixed vehicle wheel wash bay, covered vehicle parking bays including secure motor bike facilities, cycle store and refuse area.
Our further works included for all mechanical installations, electrical installations, drainage works, trenching of electrical, gas and water services, entrance and exit ramps, with modifications to parking bays and footpaths on access route, service yard, fencing and local landscaping
