Construction of a 200m inland Surf Lake using ground-breaking Wavegarden cove technology – the first of its kind in the UK. This exciting facility will generate up to 1,000 quality waves per hours, ranging from 50cm (1.7ft) to almost 2m (6.5ft) in height.

The new build also includes an education centre for schools and colleges, a café and bar, a surf shop. There’s also external works for landscaped gardens and car parks

The project includes an extension to the current school, to facilitate four extra classrooms, toilets, a break-out area, a fully-accessible childcare facility and increased floorspace of the existing hall by 80 square metres.

The current car park will also be extended to provide an additional 21 spaces, as well as a new hard surface play area, which will replace the existing grass playing field. There will also be a new dedicated footpath to link the new childcare facility to the car park.

The project will increase Welsh Medium places offered at the school to 480 and is expected to be completed in 2022.
