Surf Bristol Ltd

Construction of a 200m inland Surf Lake using ground-breaking Wavegarden cove technology – the first of its kind in the UK. This exciting facility will generate up to 1,000 quality waves per hours, ranging from 50cm (1.7ft) to almost 2m (6.5ft) in height.

The new build also includes an education centre for schools and colleges, a café and bar, a surf shop. There’s also external works for landscaped gardens and car parks

As one of the largest contractors in our region, we have a long-term commitment to the economy and champion the use of local suppliers and subcontractors, maximising SMEs. We always aim to maximise the social impact of capital investment directly into the communities in which we work. As a national contractor, we already have existing relationships with many SMEs, who we have supported for a number of years.

We are signatories to the Welsh Government’s ‘Code of Practice: Ethical Employment in Supply Chains’ and at all times comply with the Code’s 12 commitments designed to support ethical employment practices. As part of our supplier pre-qualification process we also encourage our subcontractors to adopt the Code through their supply chain.
