As part of our commitment to protecting local environments and minimizing environmental impacts, we implement our ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, to minimise environmental pollution, dust, noise, contamination of water and light pollution. We will also use the Smartwaste® system to track, monitor and report on waste for our projects.

Throughout our 151-year history, we have zero reportable environmental incidents. It a key objective for the company to maintain this record. We apply our experience of successful projects to minimise the impact of our construction activities. Ensuring all works are delivered to the highest environmental standards with zero incidents - whilst giving full protection to our sites and surrounding environment.

We also implement green travel plans, not only for site deliveries from suppliers, but also for site staff whereby they will be encouraged to use public transport and car share (subject to Welsh Government Covid-19 guidance). We have also recently invested in hybrid plant and vehicles for staff in order to reduce carbon emissions.
