Construction of a 200m inland Surf Lake using ground-breaking Wavegarden cove technology – the first of its kind in the UK. This exciting facility will generate up to 1,000 quality waves per hours, ranging from 50cm (1.7ft) to almost 2m (6.5ft) in height.

The new build also includes an education centre for schools and colleges, a café and bar, a surf shop. There’s also external works for landscaped gardens and car parks

The new single-storey building provides Magstim with a facility to manufacture and supply state-of-the-art clinical and research instruments that allow neuroscientists to work with the human brain in awake subjects.

Magstim and Neurosign products also cover the fields of neurology, neurophysiology, ENT (ear, nose and throat), orthopaedic and neurosurgery. 

The new building is linked to their existing research and development facility on the Spring Gardens Industrial site. The connection to the existing building required careful phasing of the work to avoid disruption to highly critical services.
