A landmark structure forming part of the impressive Ryder Cup Championship course.
The bridge was designed as a ‘rod stayed’ bridge with a main span of 95-metres and two end spans of 15-metres and is 160-tonnes in weight.
The deck supports a 4.2m wide carriageway to accommodate both pedestrian and lightweight maintenance vehicles.
A six-metre environmental exclusion zone was maintained along each river bank.
WINNER: LABC Award for Large Commercial and Infrastructure Project.
