Andrew Scott
Company History
Andrew Scott was originally established in 1870 and
is now based at The Grange in Margam,Port Talbot, we
have become widely acknowledged as one of the foremost
construction companies in Wales. The Company in now
one of the areas largest indigenous contractors with
a turnover of circa £45m, and approximately 250
employees.
Andrew Scott Ltd has brought quality and innovation
to the disciplines of construction and civil engineering
and we seek to continuously improve our products and
services to deliver quality our clients can rely upon.
With the success of any project based upon close liaison
and supportive working relationships, at Andrew Scott
we seek to encourage total awareness and understanding
of the client needs at every stage, this enables projects
to proceed smoothly from inception to completion.
Within the Company the attention to detail and insistence
on quality enables a wide range of clients in both the
private and public sectors to plan ahead with confidence.
The commitment to quality is recognised by formal accreditation
to BS EN ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:1999
certified and monitored by BSI Management Systems under
the PAS 99:2006 Framework for Management Systems.
At Andrew Scott we are constantly striving to improve
our service and we seek to add value by deploying the
latest technical and commercial knowledge in our clients
best interests.
Andrew Scott Ltd was purchased by Rowecord Holdings Ltd in
1996, the privately owned Rowecord Group which was established
by Ben Hoppé, Chairman and past president of
B.C.S.A. in 1967, and now has a turnover of £100
million, employing approximately 1000 personnel.
